I think an earlier response to this question might have confused a couple of issues. There are a number of variables with Campy spindles for double cranksets. English BB shells are (almost) always 68 mm wide while Italian are 70mm, and the spacing between the spindle races varies accordingly, even while the overall lengths of the spindles are very similar. There is also the issue of thin-walled (Record, GS, Triomphe, Chorus, Athena, Victory...) and thick-walled (NR, Croce) cups. If you use thin cups you need a compatible spindle that has a wider spacing between the races. Based on your situation, the wider spacing of the Italian NR spindle is not enough to make up for the thin-walled English cups you are using, though it would be cool if that had actually worked. Anyway, you need an English spindle (for 68mm shell) that is compatible with thin-walled cups. If you are using an old Campy crank (NR, SR, GS) you want either a Record or GS spindle. Triomphe, Chorus etc, will fit your frame and cups, but they are shorter overall and intended for newer cranksets.

It is not really a Teledyne-specific compatibility issue that you have, but rather a Campy interchangability issue. I'm pretty certain that your frame has a standard English shell, so if you can't find the spindle to work with your cups, a complete English BB that works with your chosen crankarms is an alternative.
