My favorite bike was a little red 753 racing model w/ chrome lugs. Also saw an amazingly long sharp spear-point lug touring model. The lugs were chrome and the seat tube spear-point lug extended high up the seat post. Dale, I would have bought it for you, but the lugs were so sharp and pointy that it could have been considered a terrorist weapon. I didn't even bother to ask the price!!! >>
How neat! So did you get a feel for what the cost range was for those various bikes? Higher than here or lower?
I wonder about shipping from France.. I have been told that shipping a bike from France is not so easy as from the UK; why I do not know..... Parcel Post still exists there no? Anyone have experiences to share along those lines?
