Spring (1976?), corporate bike outing - Huffy Corp. I am just 20 yrs. old & so is my Wife of less than 1 year. I convince her to go along on the ride, telling her how much fun this discovery of mine (cycling), is. I take home a couple of borrowed Huffy's, and check them all out to make certain than her ride is first rate. Less than 5 miles into the ride she is asking me why it is such hard work, but she sticks with it for the entire 1'st day's 30 or so miles. Next day she can hardly move. We decide to have the sag look her bike over. The rear brake is clamped shut! She did that whole first day with the rear brake applied.
