Well, I was seduced by the Richert that showed up on ebay recently, won the bid without meeting reserve, and have now negotiated a deal with the seller.
Consequently, I need to compensate in available space and bike funds, so the following are offered for sale:
Eddy Merckx Panasonic team issue frame and fork. Probably '85 or '86. This is essentially the same as a Corsa Extra without the "Corsa Extra" labeling due to being a team issue frame. Medium blue and pearl white. Columbus SLX with number-tab braze-on, no pump peg. Chrome drop outs, right-side chain stay and front derailleur mount. Internally routed top tube cable. 56cm c-to-c seat and top tubes. 126 rear spacing. This frame has lots of little nicks and chips in the paint, but is fine structurally, with no dents and only a little surface rust in a couple of the chipped areas. INCLUDES Campy C-Rec BB, HS, DT shifters and seat post in very good condition, and a 170 C-Rec crankset with 42/52 rings that's pretty scruffy, but serviceable, but with no bolts. A good project bike. $450 !!
Witcomb (yea, the same old Witcomb). British built '72, Reynolds 531, metallic red with cream panels and white lug outlines. 50cm x 53cm c-to-c. 120 rear spacing. No braze-ons except rear derailleur cable stop. Near perfect condition. INCLUDES a Stronglight HS. NOW ONLY $200 !! Somebody's got to have a use for this pretty little frame.
Wheelset. American Classic 36 hole freewheel hubset laced 3X with 14g spokes to Mavic GP4 tubular rims. Includes spacers for use as either 126 or 130 spacing. Well used but in good shape. No skewers. $60
