If anyone is interested in starting a Bike biz, spicing up an existing bike shop with more classic interests, or taking over an existing one. Drop me a email or call. My mother is going to retire and hang it up for some relaxation time. As many of you know how hectic the bike biz is, she doesn't wish for her blood pressure to continue to rise. It was a very very busy summer and she is looking at getting out of the biz. She was going to sell about 1 or 2 years ago and ended up staying longer. This time she wishes to go through with it.
Located in DuBois, Pennsylvania. The shop has done exceptionally well and is the longest running shop in the area. Open for 10+ years now and carrying some strong bike lines. they are a Giant, Cannondale, Mongoose, Ironhorse, GT dealer and a few more of course. They do exceptionally well with BMX, Mountain, Cross, and Road. There has even been some interest in more classics thanks to myself and some of my bikes hanging around inside the shop.
If someone is looking at extending their classic hobby with some sales of bicycles along the way. This would be a good way to go about it. Her asking price is very reasonable, in fact...extremely reasonable considering the business she generates but as I said, she is tired and ready to enjoy the grandchildren.
She asks that anyone interested can call her to discuss details. She is available most of the time during business hours. monday - thursday 10-5p and Friday 10-8. Sat 10-4. the following are phone numbers at which she can be reached. She is also willing to work with someone on pricing and getting them introduced to the business.

Dubois is steadily growing in population base with a local college about 1/2 mile from the business. Her asking price: $40,000. Very reasonable. Call her to talk and she welcomes any questions. So if you want to extend your classics into a bike shop atmosphere, give her a call. Thanks for the space. ------------------------------------------
