The Alfa Romeo four-leaf clover is a clover (a lucky one at that). The Colnago club is a club.

I am told that Hugh Porter was behind the microphone at the recent Masters' World Track Championships. Does anybody know anything about Hugh Porter bikes -- who made them and whay are they no more? I had a road frame that was so neglected and mutilated that I scrapped it, alas, but I still have the Campy dropouts. I turned down a deal on a nice Hugh Porter track bike because the bracket had been cross-threaded. Both bikes were in Canada, so I assume there's lots in the UK but I haven't seen one there yet.
