The Shimano Dura Ace single pivot calipers (7400
[regular] and 7401 [SLR]) both had a ratcheting QR
like the Suntour Superbe. I'm pretty sure Shimano did
it first. Either way, I'm not sure what the advantage
of this feature is since the cam type QR on the Campy
Record (NR/SR/Cobalto) caliper worked in any position.
In other words it was infinitly adjustable instead of
ratcheting, and I've never had one slip.
