My other job at KC's Bikes and Trikes for Tikes is going over the discarded bikes for good quality usable parts. Space is running out and after Christmas we will lose even more of what little storage space we have. Salvaging the good-stuff has not been particularly easy because I can't be there whenever the KCB&TFT shop is open...... and the more ham-fisted vounteers have an inclination to reach for a hammer instead of the WD-40.

Yesterday I arrived to find a heap of bikes in the scrap bin that hadn't been fully stripped of good parts. Lots of wheels with Normandy, Atom, Shimano, H/F alloy hubs. Cable stops. One chrome Impero pump. Simplex shifters---the bike with these was too deep in the pile for me to reach without causing some conflict but from what I could see the brakes are Mafacs.

If you're not afraid to do a little dumpster diving, this load will be there through the end of the week. Call or email me for details and hours, &c. The wheels are now piled at the east end of the container for easier access.

We also have a number of Peugeots(no X-10's currently) for sale....cheap. A fine Bianchi. Butted Tange Centurions. Three tri-butted Fuji's. Lots of Raleighs(nothing higher than a RRA but many with GB bars, stems, Weinmann center-pulls). A Sutter (retro-looking but nothing special). Good Panasonics. A Batavus. A small Gitane Interclub. Motobecanes. Many three speeds.
