I agree with your approach. Something simple (but hopefully not too plain) and classic in appearance in keeping with the theme and intersets of the group. Personally, I'm not in favor of making a billboard out of it either from a current or vintage sponsor/product viewpoint.

Since I'm a squirt, that's my $.01 worth. I could wear a large as a nightshirt!
