A friend of mine has a '72 Paramount road bike, NR equipped with high flange hubs and Weinmann Concave rims, Brooks Pro, Cinelli, etc. The frame is black in color and the chrome is in good condition. The decals are perfect. There is some rust just starting to bubble under the paint on the top tube, beneath the brake cable clips. Overall, it is a very nice bike.
Since he and I are uninformed in Paramount matters (among others), we would like to know, please, what this bicycle is worth as is and what would it be worth if the top tube were rust free?
