The Lycett saddle is a nice thing to be sure (love the seasoned leather, the center support, and the distinquished-looking clamp).

But I was totally distracted by the fleck in the quarter-sawn oaken desktop with the highlights reflected from a chandelier, and the cast lamp base in the background, and what's that on the doily behind the reading glasses, a cut-crystal glass wi' a drop o' the dew in it?

This island, this realm, this Lycett! Ride forth with honor/yet sweat not lest ye besmirch her!

Hail to thee, blythe leather, seat thou never wert, that through every weather pourest they full strength in dutifully maintaining thy rider's leg length!

Stronger still, and stronger from the frame thou pushest like a noble plunger, yon pelvis thou supportest... and, stretching, still dost stay, and, staying, ever stretchest.

Cripes! Here's the hook!
