Howdy, All,

I came into a 23" (c-t) Peugeot PR-10l and hoping to trade it whole as it is pretty good condition and basically stock. I could probably get more parting it out, but that seems wrong if I can keep it intact. For those not familiar, this was the bike one notch below the PX-10e in Peugeot's early to mid 70's line up.

Description/Condition--I am guessing it is about 1974 or bike, based on decals and the info I got when I acquired it.

Frame: 3 tube Reynolds 531 with Classic Peugeot white with black head lugs. Lugs are plain. Paint is good shape, with minor chipping, and the decals intact except the Reynolds sticker, which is all but gone. Simplex dropouts, chrome on forks only. Nameless

Deraillers: Front is a pushrod Simplex Prestige, rear a criterium. Rear derailleur pullies are shot (I may have one extra pulley I can throw in, though.)

Crank: Stronglight 49 with TA dustcaps. Looks like 52/45 but I haven't counted, and the teeth have some life in them but are not new.

Wheels: Not original; appear to be from a UX-10: 36 hole Normandy Luxe Competition laced 3x to unknown alloy rims with "dimpled" walls for braking. Rear hubs red Normandy sticker around the barrel gone; front still there. Neat MM Atom skewers.

Brakes: Mafac racers (of course) with plastic levers. These levers look a little nicer than the usual MAFACs, with an adjustment barrel.

Saddle/Seatpost: Ideale 80 in great shape with that very neat seat post clamp that Ideale made. Very long (18"+/-!) non-stock straight steel post.

Pedals: Rather nifty Lyotards--classic "rattrap." Not as desirable as No. 23's but very cool.

Bar and Stem: Atax alloy

What I would in trade: Maillard 700 hubs (HF and English/ISO threading preferred); Stronglight 93 Chainrings; Simplex Competion front derailleur; or credit toward a whole 62 cm PY-10

What I am asking in cash: $250 + shipping (a bit less if you pick it up in Chicago)

Let me know what you think. Feel free to make reasonable inquiries.

I DO NOT HAVE PHOTOS!
