There were 13 made The 'lugs', in 4 places, were 'pressure cast' somewhere between forged and gravity cast - out of aluminum composite by a company for Harlan Meyer Welding, according to Meyer, is a dirty word in the aircraft industry.
The frame tubes were then aircraft-riveted to these fittings, and the walls of the tubes aere about .020" One fan said he had one with an early version of a threadless headset, but according to Meyer, those were pulled from the line after they proved to be belkow the strength standard for Hi E parts.
