Sam,
San Diego County has not outlawed Imron yet. I'm pretty sure SD county is the only county in Southern CA that has not banned its use by this time when everyone else has been out of the loop for at least two years. I believe it has to do with air quality. The air quality in LA, Riverside, Orange, and Imperial Counties is considerably worse that here in San Diego. 50% if the smog in SD comes down the coast from LA. As long as my supplier can get Imron and sell it, it is legal. The time is very near from the rumbleings that are circulating when Imron will dissappear from California. Soon after that, the rest of the country will go down the drain. There are plenty of good paints available and I use several options as neccessary. The primer concerns me. How stupid is it to put WATER base primer on metal? I don't like that idea at all.
BTW Sam, I'm curious exactly what you do for a living. I haven't been abel to figure out what you do for a living on account of it seems you have experience and pieces of information from all sorts of areas. Do you paint bikes in Riverside County?
