My exile to Salt Lake City has been temporarily revoked and I am able to spend the month in Portland with my family. Really it has not been an exile just hard to apart...there is light at the end of the tunnel and I am pretty sure its not an oncoming! I was in Sellwood Cyclery the other morning (being allowed to rumage, what a treat...thanks Eric)and found an old Siplex der set. These are metal with the riveted on name badge, I think there are L Juy 61? They appear the same as an old crit but are solid metal. Included were the shift levers. I have a couple of questions. ABout what year were these der's? Next, the name plate is missing from the front der. While I am sure I could make the badge itself, any good ideas on how to get the logo on back on the metal? I a little heavy handed when it comes to art and this may be beyond my ability to make a template and paint.

Oh, I would be looking for a rear Pellisier large flange hub, alloy flanges/steel barrel and a simplex rear skewer with the centered mech and rubber coated handle. Anyone?
