Just out of curiosity.......... If someone had modified a NR derailleur at the time the bike was first assembled, would you be able to tell the difference? When Bicycle Classics was selling the Rally cage plates I modified my own NR derailleur and it works pretty good. I'm running a six speed 13-28 with 44/48 rings so it's not overstressed I suppose.
