It looks like I will be in Japan around March 2002, staying in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Any suggestions on bicycle related places to visit in the area?

Anybody think the purchase of a Japanese randonneur bike like Toei is worth it? I would think the exchange rate would be a killer.

Also, if you follow the link at the bottom of this page, and click the link after the one with FAX in it, you'll find some sort of list of classic used bikes for sale with photos. Some really neat stuff here. I especially like the Bianchi Promeneade.
