I can extend this statement to later ones as well. I have a Merckx and a DeRosa that I suspect are both somewhere around 1990 frames, and the lugs and fork crown are near identical. BB shells are different, however, Merckx is slotted while DeRosa has eyelets. The Merckx is a Molteni replica, so maybe this is by design? I dunno...
