Hi Bruce,
Well, I also own all three. Except Ken Denny doesn't own a Confente and never has. My Ephgrave is unridable, a victim of a _very_ serious crash; but the beauty of the frame is still readily apparent to anyone who loves bikes.
I have to admit I was just being silly saying a Confente was better than a Ephgrave after you said a Ephgrave was better than a Masi. But remember, I'm the one that brough up the fact that Ephgraves are _cool_ in the first place?
When you get to the level of quality of a Les Ephgrave, a Richard Sachs, a Brian Baylis, a Peter Weigle, a Mario Confente etc. you are talking about frames of equal quality but differences in style, taste and historical significance.
And at that point, I'm sure you'll agree, it comes down to what _you_ like. Not which one is better. As David Letterman puts it, "This is not a contest, no wagering _please_ !"
