I can believe BG said "something" to that effect, but what is actually more difficult for me to believe is that he made some of those elegant frames back in the 70's & early 80's!! I believe someone said (on this List) a long time back, that BG hasn't done a lugged frame since 1982? How is it he changed direction before the rest of the Industry caught on? Was it all about the bike, I mean the $$? Now there is an interesting character, I mean, framebuilder!!????
No, I've never met him, but I've seen two or three of those old lugged frames, and they are pretty nice (did HE really built them?)
