My lugless Curve Tube is s/n 8138. It was purchased new in 1986. I built it up the following year. The Nuovo Record gruppo I bought new for it came with an 84 derailleur, 11 in box fluted cranks, 73 hubs with flat quick releases, one QR nut was domed, the other not. So much for matching date codes. I suppose an original bike need not be period correct.
