Welcome to the list! I think you'll like it a lot. Some of us (moi!) don't say much of any import, but there are some really knowledgeable classic bike owners, collectors, and appreciators here--not to mention framebuilders and painters! And they're all great folks.
One bit of advice you'll probably get (not just from me) is to opt for getting single messages rather than getting the digest. Some folks on the list have really spiffy things to sell, and if you get single messages, you might have the chance of picking up some stange little thing you need for a very good price; if you get the digest, the spiffy bits will be gone by the time you realize they were ever there. Plus, that way you can save individual messages and delete the ones you don't need or want. (I set up a "message rule" in Outlook Express that directs all Classic Rendezvous mail into its own little folder so that the posts don't get mixed up with my regular mail.)
By the way . . . what's the other bike that's "not much to talk about"? I'm curious. . . .
