When I was in the UK last year on vacation, we purchased many souvenir type items and had to pay the VAT on everything we purchased. Then, when we were leaving, we filled out the appropriate forms at the airport, and mailed them to, well, I do not remember for sure, to some agency that would refund us the VAT that we paid while in the UK. The VAT credit came through on my credit card. I assume a purchase from this store, even via mail, would be treated the same way.
