Sounds like a wonderful bike and a real beauty and a rare find for those interested. For price comparison, I purchased mine new in 1981 (1980 frame date), factory complete for $2000 and its still going strong although I did recently add a set of C-Record hubbed clinchers (Mavic Open Pros) for those times I didn't want to ride sewups. --
