Subject: [CR]whacked chrome Paramount frame on Ebay..

http://ebay.com/<blah>

Looking at this Prugnat lugged Paramount frame, I see;

"Top tube has a small dent which can be "rolled out" (email for details). Top tube is straight and integrity of frame is as new."

I e-mailed out of curiosity wondering how that pretty deep whack was going to get "rolled out" Here is the response:

" Hello and thanks for your inquiry There is a tool made by Bicycle Research that clamps on the tube and is worked around to remove the dent. The inside diameter of the clamp is the same as the outside diameter of the tube. This process removes the majority of the dent. Contact your local bike shop or Wright Brothers Cycle Works in Seattle for more details. N."

Then I wonder if Norman (the seller) knows he is full of it or it is intentionally misleading, and/or if the Wright Brothers shop folk know he is using their name & reputation to sell this whacked frame....
