A question came up on todays ride about the origin of the two types of valves. I imagine this is a common knowledge thing, but I don't happen to know. Which is older: Presta or Schrader. Were Prestas a European thing, while the Schraders were USA? A little help on the background of these burning questions will help me sleep at night and settle after ride drinking bets. Thanks.
