The following books are wonderful, but once I've read them, it is unlikely I will read them again. It would be nice to sell them all to one person for $60 shipped, but if not, prices are per book, shipped. Subtract $2 per book for each book after the first one if you buy more than one:
The Best of Bicycling, Harley Leete, 79 stories from Bicycling magazine published in 1970--definitely on topic and when this was a good magazine. $12 shipped.
Hearts of Lions, Peter Nye, The History of American Bicycle Racing, published in 1988. $12 shipped.
Tales from the Toolbox, Scott Parr, mechanic for Motorola during Lance's early years, published in 1997. $12 shipped.
Himalayan Passage, Jeremy Schmidt, a story of mountain biking in Tibet, Nepal, China, India and Pakistan--very pertinent to today's news, but somewhat off topic. Published first in 92, this copy in 97. $12 shipped.
Bicycling for Life, Arthur Niehoff, a story of how the bicycle helps a college professor in southern California cope with life's crises. Definitely off topic, but interesting nonetheless. $12 shipped.
A Traveller on Horseback (Hey, she rides a saddle), Christina Dodwell. A woman's adventure traveling by herself in eastern Turkey, Iran, Kurdistan, and Afghanistan. Another one with exposure to an area of current geographical interest. Published in 1989. $12 shipped.
