Hello, I just fixed a Maillard front hub for a friend and found that the front axle was damaged because someone replaced the locknuts with wrong thread. I work on British cars(Morgans) and have Whitworth taps and dies so I will check that but I find it hard believing the French and English would agree on anything much less threads.
