I think one obvious difference between the '70 and '71 is the half chrome rear stays on the later bike vs. the painted stays on the earlier one. The '70 was designated Mk II in the catalog and the '72 catalog calls the Pro a Mk IV. I have a '71 but have never seen a '71 catalog....I assume it was called the Mk III? Great bikes whatever you call them!
