Although Hiduminium was the prefered spec for many post war cycle
componants. I think Pete Naiman is refering to GB's first model of
brake
calipers that had "Hiduminium" stamped on in large letters Intentional
or not
this is how they are refered to. They seem to have appeared around
about
1947/48 and ran with the Couriers a while when they were introduced in
the early 1950s
