A few of the original Lemonds were built by Roland Della Santa, the majority of the steel frames we painted were built by Scapin.
Yes, I remember when Greg won his second tour, and was at the height of his career. TSD ran a large ad in Bicycling magazine to sell replica team bikes. The ad cost $10,000. They sold 6 bikes.

Jim,
Thanks for the added insight. The whole falure of the original
LeMond bikes can without a doubt be put in Bob's lap. It did not help that
Ten Speed Drive (the exclusive distributer) went down for the count. Does
anyone have any solid leads on the actual builders of the steel frames? I
have one that could pass as a twin for my Ballaili(sp) Bros. built Tommaso.
They are both different then my Guerciotti built Tommaso.
Thanks,
Garry Nold
