BAD! Well, depends on the price. I want to like Medici. I really do - as a local SoCal person, I have given them a shot on more than once (they are now Simonetti - and Jim Cunningham can tell you why that all changed).

But...when I asked them to paint a Coppi for my men's 2 team to match the other rider's frames and one of the downtube decals came back under the clear coat UPSIDE DOWN - even when I gave them two sets of decals, it makes me wonder what they do to the part of the frame that easier to hide - like the part UNDER the paint. I also once sent them a Landshark to be repainted and they left the decal targets on that and within two weeks the paint started leaching these blobby brown stains.

Because of this and a few other horror stories I have heard from others, my opinion of Medici remains unchanged: Pass. It doesn't seem to me that their focus is or has ever been on quality.

(We all are due our opinions - and this is mine. Please don't spam me for this).
