As a young man I purchased a gents Dunelt three speed bicycle, from the Arrow Bicycle Shop in Fort Lauderdale , Florida in about 1961. As I remember it, the Dunelt sold for about $65.00. It was made in the Nottingham facility A Raleigh Sports sold for about 20 to 30 dollars more. They appeared to be identical machines with the exception that the Dunelt had a lesser quality Brooks saddle, and was equipped with a twist grip shift mechanism rather than the more popular lever type. The accesories availabe were identical, as were the painting, striping and tires etc. I think the Raleigh was the only model that a Dynohub was offered. The bike gave me great service. I too wonder were all the Dunelts went. The particular shop were I bought mine retailed a ton of them. I have only seen a few of them since I owned mine.
