All list members interested in this Herse should be made aware of the fact that this particular Herse was involved in a head on collision. The top tube, down tube, and fork were damaged in the accident. Repairs were made by Rob Roberson a frame builder who works out of Joe Bell's shop.Sincerely, Sterling

There is a Herse Demountable on eBay this morning.
Look here:
http://ebay.com/
It is a 52cm c-c and that translates even shorter since these bikes size _up_ usually 1-3cm, at least in my humble experience. Particularly noteworthy is the Herse crank. If anyone has the technical know-how to pull the many pictures off the site and post them somewhere, the more photos of Herse on the record, the better!!
now it will sure be interesting to see how far this one goes, no? Douglas Brooks, prefers to be known more for questions than answers, in snowy, snowy Canandaigua, NY
