Hmmm, what kinda tandem you riding buddy? I take both hands off often
enough, to take my jacket or headband off when I warm up or to stretch my
back - shifting's pretty easy compared to that.

I wouldn't know - never tried 'em. Honestly, I don't think I've even ridden
around the block with Ergo or STI - do I get a prize or something?

Sounds like Davis never tried bar-cons. I can remember at least two sprints
I won where I felt the winning edge was that I was able to shift while
sprinting, and the guy next to me had DT shifters.
