Is it a good idea to have residual chemicals in the frame? Or does this process clean out completely from inside the tubes? Sterling

Not a bad idea. I've never tried it, but it is a deffinite possibility. Personally, I like to strip frames myself; that way I get a good look at them at the same time as I'm not handing the frame off to someone else who may not be familiar with delicate bike frames.
