Hello to all,

New member here. I'd like to take a short moment to introduce myself. I currently live overseas on the tropical island of Okinawa, Japan. As you can guess the prices here in Japan are unbelievably high and it's nearly impossible to find any vintage European parts for a price you and I would be willing to spend. I consider myself to be very new to the great world of vintage lightweights. I've been riding all my life but have only recently been bitten by the vintage bug. I bought my fist vintage frame on ebay a few years ago, a '73 Paramount. Should have it back from Waterford any day now. I look forward to finally getting all those parts I've collected over the years mounted to this great piece of American cycle history. Since my first vintage endeavor I've bought two more projects, a '71 Frejus and most recently a '76 Motobecane Grand Jubile. Both were bought from listings on CR's "For Sale" page. Since I'm so new to the vintage world I have a long list of questions that I'm dying to ask, but will not because it would take too much of your time. I do have some specific questions about Motobecane frames. If someone out there feels like entertaining my questions about the Motobecane Grand Jubile (how do you identify age and components) please email me. I would also like to thank everyone that has helped me in the past: Mike from Bicycles Classics inc. , Brian Baylis who was the only one willing to help out Richard Schwinn with some decals on my Paramount, and many, many more people I've meet here on CR's pages

Thanks from the land of the rising sun! I hope I didn't take too much of your time.
