I have not seen the original copy of " The Data Book" but it
seems to me that it did not contain any significant text that
could make it a source of useful data. About 20 years ago a book
called " Derailleurs Collecton" was published in Japan. Although
it was full of obscure photos and classified according to makers,
it lacked the text and was not useful.
The greater part of "The Data Book" consists of D. Rebour's
drawings on Le Cycle. The book " The World of D. Rebour" has been
just reissued in Japan and it is announced that 2 more books ,
vol.2 and vol.3, will be issued in near future. Eagerly I wish
they give us significant information.
