I note that several classicists are also musicians. If you play or ever played an instrument seriously, or even half-seriously, and want to participate, send me a PRIVATE REPLY (not to the whole list please). Indicate your name, main instrument, main type of music you play (jazz, rock, classical, bluegrass, etc.) and favorite bike. I'll publish the results in a post next week, and anybody interested can then find out if oboists prefer Olmos, drummers Baylises, etc.
We may also discover we have the makings of a pretty decent band right here among us...
