Peugeot Galaxie and another model built on the same frame had the tubes and joints assembled by something they called "wedge lock," and if my memory is right there were a number of frame failures after which the bikes were recalled. I think customers who wanted this were given lugged 531 and/or501 Peugeot Triathlon frames, which were a good solid item. They were sold @1986-1990. I know this second hand as my employer at the time had little to do with Peugeot.
