Subject: [CR]Superbe Pro Gruppo, but which seatpost?

I have one of those Superbe Pro Gruppos on my Raleigh Prestige road bike. The Prestige came as a frame only from the factory, and the shop must have desired an upscale gruppo to complement the frame. Everything is upscale for the 80's era: Superpe Pro but Royal Grande Compe 400 brakes and Regina freewheel. Cineli, fits as choice for stem and seat but someone obviously knew that the Superbe pro seatpost was less than ideal. They choose a cheesy seatpost made by SR instead. I would like to get something more functional as the adjustment for tilt is second rate. What would not be too expensive but at least look period correct? By the way, I must say that the Superpe Pro crank and deraileurs are a major step up from those ARX and Suginos I had on another bike. I can recommend the Superbe Pro Gruppo as looking attractive, modern, classic and being dependable too. Garth
