for this very reason, i no longer ship frames via UPS. fedex costs a bit more, but also seem to take better care of things.

Hi to all,
just a short note regarding UPS.
I bought the Colnago Arabesque from Peter Naimen.
It arrived approx 2 weeks ago, UPS had managed to crush the rear cable =
guide and break it off.
Thus ruining the bike. I have contacted them and they came and inspected =
the bike 2 days ago.
I have not yet heard what they intend to do about it.
