Vintage truing stand from the forties or fifties. I bought this truing stand from my mentor Oliver Boots Ward about fifteen years ago. This was the same stand that he was using in the early 60s when I first met him and it had some years on it then. Many a top National class rider has had wheels built on this stand. I have a cheap digital camera that a picture was taken with, so the quality isnt that great, but you can get a good idea of what it looks like. There isnt a name or any markings on the stand that I could find. If you would like to look at it let me know and I will send a photo to you, off the mailing list of course. Not sure what it is worth, but any decent truing stand should bring $100. Thought I would give list members first refusal. If no interest in it than on to ebay it goes.
