Subject: [CR]Chrome track frame ID help requested

All:

I have an early chrome-plated track bike frame that I am hoping to ID. It has Brampton lugs with keyhole cutouts like Joe B-Z's Pop Brennan. The frame looks very much early Paramount-ish to me (see the centerfold in the Schwinn Bicycles coffee table book), but the stay ends are pointed not domed, at both the seat cluster and the dropouts. The rear drops are very thin steel (like 1/3 the thickness of modern track drops), the BB is rather plain, but has an oiler on the top, the fork crown is flat undrilled Brampton-ish I think. The seatpost is a 27.2 and the bike weighs 19 lb. (complete) with a BSA cottered crank and inch-pitch drivetrain. Could this be a BSA? It doesn't look much like Joe's 20's BSA, but perhaps it is more like 30's?

The serial number on the bottom of the BB is: 10 22 37 with a 2 above it (1937??).

TIA,
