I don't know who your friend is but I used to work for Lance's good
friend and mechanic in last years tour and every Lance bike I ever
saw was a Trek and carbon fiber. I've seen a lot of pictures of
Lance on training rides since Santa Barbara was his winter home, not
to mention wedding grounds, the last few years. Though for some
reason this year he decided to only show up for a couple of weeks.
I've worked on one of his bikes and it was also carbon fiber. I'd
sure that in the past he rode other bikes, but not for many years.
I'll ask Dave what the history of Lance's bike use is if anybody
actually cares, but I think that's a matter for another list.
