Here's a trick for raising the bars. Get one of those non-serrated 3ttt adjustable stems and rotate the bar bracket so that the bars are above rather than below the stem. It looks much cooler than an extended headtube. Major Taylor used to ride that way too.

I did this for my wife who is 5'6" but has very short legs and can only straddle a 19.5 inch frame. Her arms weren't long enough to reach the bars comfortably with a standard stem. A better solution, of course, would be a custom frame. Maybe I should start saving up for one of those new-fangled Mokeyman frames. Hey Brandon, do you braze on centerpulls and kickstands?
