Some of us old farts with stiff backs like the tops even with the saddle, even if we seldom ride on the drops. I first thought about this when I read Grant's theory in the Rivendell Reader. I tried it, and it was indeed more comfortable. Maybe not for everyone, but I don't think I'm the only one who agrees with Grant on this subject. Not that I agree with all of Grant's ideas, but I usually find them worth thinking about.

Regards,

Jerry Moos

Is to ride on the tops and levers, not the drops. Been doing it for 30 years....dah
