That's true, and these do, but it's not easy to see due to the angles of the photos. If you click to the enlarged version, particularly of the upper image, you can see the slight "shelf."
These are probably worth more for the replacement cones and locknuts than to use as hubs to build up a wheel. Luxe Compétition cones aren't interchangeable with anything, and there are lots of bikes out there that need them. The locknuts are also a bit special, but are rather brittle and are often cracked.
