Richard Hallett also published a short history of Zeus back in the 80s that included an excellent discussion about the Eibar, Spain metal manufacturing industry. If someone does contact him about Zeus parts, they might ask him for a copy of that brochure. Richard also is quite knowledgeable about French makes such as Bertin and I believe he still acts as a distributor for Woodrup. When I was visiting him regularly in the early 90s, he had quite a business selling 1940s-50s parts to Japanese collectors. At the time, he had about 10 Zeus bikes and a lot of NOS Zeus parts in stock. He also has a good selection of Campy and other vintage parts, but they can be pricey. The only thing I got last time I was there was a set of NOS Zeus brake hoods that list-meister Dale took off my hands in trade for a set of Campy hoods. Perhaps one of the list members who lives in Albuquerque can visit Richard to give us an idea of interesting items he may have in stock. Lou Deeter, Orlando!
