Subject: [CR]Paint/graphics for 1970 Falcon San Remo?

My trusty Falcon San Remo has been waiting for a restoration now more time than I care to admit; I've been dithering over the exact graphics and paint.

Can someone here tell me:

A) were there any other "classic" or typical Falcon colors besides sky-blue and candy red? If so, what were they? I really dislike those two colors and would love to discover there was another typical color that I could live with.

B) what graphics package would have been typical on a San Remo of 1969 or 1970? I need complete details, so I can have it repainted/re-decaled correctly.

Maybe some of our UK members can help me out here?

Pictures of an original frame of that vintage would, of course, be invaluable.

The one I have is chromed on all fork and stay ends, and the headlugs and Cinelli sloping crown are chromed.

I've seen one graphics package I like, but it'll be expensive I'm told: the white panels with red script lettering on the top and down-tubes, with multiple bands and the Falcon logo on the seat-tube. Does that sound right for 1970? Does anyone know if that UK (I forget the name, they're on the web) company that sells transfers sells the Falcon panel/lettering transfer as one sheet? My painter has to paint the panels, then use the lettering. Having the whole thing as one transfer, (although cheesier) would be cheaper and correctly authentic.

Thanks for any help you can provide. Please e-mail me privately along with the list.
